TC School

TC School has been operating in Iceland since the summer of 2020. We offer a daily program based on Christian core values and a religious approach. The school consists of an open group and an advanced group (Bible School).

We are a vibrant community that adapts to the needs of each group and situation. The school has been held in various locations, including Fríkirkjan Veginn, Philadelphia, the Pentecostal Church in Akureyri and now at the Dream Center.

Our goal is to open our own halfway house with resources that we have developed and built over the past few years.

TC Helping Hand

TC Helping Hand began operations in April 2024. Our goal is to serve the homeless and people with addiction problems with love and respect.

• Street work: On Thursdays we walk Laugarveginn with coffee and cakes and visit the shelters on Lindargata and Grandi.

• Daily conversation: Our employee, Agata, visits the Samhjálp Café every weekday, chatting with guests and praying for those who wish.

• TC Café: On Thursdays at 6:30 PM we meet at the Samhjálp Café, have a worship service, share reflections and end the time with prayer and fellowship.

We are grateful for a car that was obtained through grants and dream of owning our own space for group work and socializing.

Hope Light Women's Resource

Teen Challenge Iceland is a specialized program for women seeking recovery from addiction and hardship. The program is based on the international content of Teen Challenge and a holistic approach in a nurturing and supportive environment.

We place great emphasis on community, individual work, and professional guidance with experts in the fields of art therapy and alcohol and drug counseling. Among our cornerstones is a Christian approach and the healing of the Holy Spirit that strengthens and transforms.

TC Hope

In early 2025, we began serving in the Litla-Hraun treatment corridor. Our team, which visits the prison once a month, consists of a diverse group of individuals – both those who have personal experience of the prison system and provide peer guidance, as well as others who are passionate about sharing hope and recovery.

We bring praise, testimony, conversation and prayer, with the goal of showing that life with Jesus provides a solution and helps people turn the page. The work has been successful and well received.

We are also starting regular services at the prison in Sogn, with the first visits scheduled for May or June 2025. We will serve there in a similar manner, once a month.
