ABOUT TC ICELAND

TC Iceland is an organization that has been operating since 2020. We are affiliated with organizations that operate all over the world called Teen Challenge or Adult & Teen Challenge. Where we do not work with teenagers but mainly with those 18 years of age and older.   This organization traces its origins to a man named David Wilkersson taking to the streets of New York City to tell young people who were involved in gangs and drug use about Jesus. This led to a huge change in the lives of many people in a short time and has yielded great results for individuals as well as families and society as a whole around the world. The organization has developed its ideology and materials for processing and is well regarded in the 140 countries in which it operates. We base our philosophy and curriculum on both the Bible and the various teachings that have emerged in recent years in connection with addiction problems and the recovery process. The curriculum is good and broad, it helps people recover from addiction problems in any area. We offer practical lessons that are useful in everyday life and are focused on learning to deal with life, emotions and pain from the past. The courses that TC offers go through material that benefits people in their walk with God and on the other hand, specific inner work, where matters of the heart are dealt with. We emphasize that everything we do gives students the opportunity to cultivate their relationship with God, as outlined in the 11 steps of the AA organization. The goal is always to prepare students for life after school, such as how to tackle the tasks of the day without falling back into old ways.
